The Hershey Company Announces Retirement of Brent Cotten, Head of Global Customer & Industry Affairs

The Hershey Company has announced that Brent Cotten, head of global customer & industry affairs, will retire from The Hershey Company June 26, 2026, after 34 years with the company. Cotten, who began his career with Hershey in 1992, has served as a trusted leader and industry ambassador for Hershey, representing the company across major U.S. trade associations, customer events and global industry forums. Over more than three decades, he played a critical role in building strong partnerships across the confectionary, convenience and food retail industries. Brent has been an integral and longstanding member of CDA, contributing to countless programs and events with his dedication and expertise. He has served on numerous CDA committees, including the Education & Research Committee and Events Planning Committee, and has also served on the CDA Board of Directors. He is currently chair of the Manufacturers’ Advisory Council. Thank you, Brent, for all that you have contributed to CDA and the industry, and congratulations on your upcoming retirement!
